An Ohio native, Scott graduated from Ohio University cum laude, earning a B.A. in business administration with a concentration in finance and insurance. He has also completed curriculum through the College for Financial Planning and graduated with top honors from the Florida Bankers Association Trust School, where he was awarded the top honor recipient.

Before relocating from Ohio and joining Caldwell Trust Company in 2011, Scott worked as a licensed financial adviser with Raymond James Financial Services, focusing on financial planning, estate planning, and portfolio management. Before that, he had been a financial adviser with MetLife Financial Services and an independent registered securities representative with Brecek & Young Financial Advisors.

Antritt is a founding charter member and vice president of MCLAX, Inc. non-profit organization which raises funds to support the growth of lacrosse in Manatee County public schools. In 2017-2018, MCLAX was responsible for implementing the first-ever boys and girls varsity lacrosse program at Lakewood Ranch High School, where Antritt is an assistant coach for the boys' team. In addition, he is a volunteer for the Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund and Suncoast Charities for Children. The former college football player enjoys running, adventure races, golfing, hunting, and fishing.
