Melissa Caldwell is an engaged member of the Sarasota County community and a dedicated member of the Caldwell Trust Company family. She joined the Board of Directors of Caldwell Trust Company, bringing a strong background in real estate finance, negotiations, business management, and marketing, along with a deep commitment to community service and nonprofit organizations.

Originally from West Palm Beach, Melissa is a third-generation Floridian. She holds a degree in Business Management and Marketing and has built a career and community presence grounded in relationships, thoughtful leadership, and service. Her husband, R. G. “Kelly” Caldwell Jr., founder and CEO of Caldwell Trust Company, brought her to Sarasota County, where she embraced the community and its many opportunities to give back.

Melissa’s experience and passion for serving others have made her a valued member of Caldwell Trust Company’s leadership and governance. As a member of the Board, she contributes her perspective and expertise while supporting the company’s continued growth and long-term commitment to its clients and the communities it serves.

Originally from West Palm Beach, Melissa is a third-generation Floridian with a degree in business management and marketing. Her husband and Venice native, Kelly Caldwell of Caldwell Trust Company, is who led Melissa to Sarasota County. Being involved in the community is important to Melissa. "It is important to give back. I consider living in this community a privilege and have made a commitment to help it prosper.
